At the end of the property is the 1200m² field, all grass, with lots of fruit trees. Take a walk around the field during the late summer and autumn and you can help yourself to an abundance of pears, peaches, plums, grapes and blackberries.
This really is a great outdoor space, and has been used by us in a variety of ways over the years, including a football pitch, badminton court, party venue, paddling pool & water slide area and, most recently, vegetable plot. What you choose to do with it is up to you!
The views from the field are amazing, looking over the lake to the east to the fields beyond, the acres of apple trees to the north, the perfect star-filled sky above. We love to sit up there, where the only sound is the birds in the trees and the chicadas in the grass, and just appreciate how wonderful it is here.
