Utility Room

The Utility Room, accessed via a door from the Kitchen, or from the back of the house by the back door, is one of those rooms that all houses need – storage space for coats, shoes, crockery and other bits-and-bobs. It also houses the washing machine, plus the second staircase up to the first floor.
A door from this room leads to the Boiler Room, from where you can acces the downstairs Toilet and Shower Room.
An electric, wall-mounted heater keeps this room warm, and the back door is here, leading out to the Garden (and the washing line!).
