The dining room, accessed by an open doorway from the living room, has plenty of space for a table and chairs. Alternatively, move the table into the living room and use this as a family room.
Our kids have enjoyed having this room to themselves, with the computer piano and Playstation all permanently set up. The adults have even taken over from time-to-time to enjoy sing-songs at the piano.Luckily, with this room being on the far side of the house, you won’t disturb the neighbours with even the most rowdy of singing!
Perhaps the best part of this room is the view from the tall window. You can look over the garden and swimming pool, down the lane and over the lake, where the sun rises in the morning, resulting in some stunningly beautiful skies.
